At Fugeelah, children from the Fugee School learn about craftsmanship, design and other skills to produce beautiful creations. Fugeelah celebrates children, their creativity and art as a form of expression.
With generousity from renowned Malaysian Designer Melinda Looi, her son Mika, has designed this bright and vibrant scarf inspired by his teacher. He was drawn by his teacher’s colourful dressing with golden shoes with black stripes, blue denim jeans and a red hoodie jumper.
Mika is 8, loves art and draws a lot.
50% of the sales of the scarves will benefit the children at Fugee School, a non-profit education centre for refugee children in Malaysia. Fugee School currently educates 180 children ages 4-20 years old from over 6 countries.
